Above Just put some wood filler on sand down & one smooth track

Above Plan to show how far I have got with stuff to do. . .
Well that's how far I got pop back soon will upload more and show working pits !!!!
Wednesday night
Well I finally got them to work I used a couple of point motors from the model rail boys these cost me £4.00 each but well worth it.
I shall now get the point switch and fit them in so I will have working pits

Above the FLIPPER in place ready for a test
Below better put some tape on . . . .

Below how I fitted the point motor. got the idea of the picture mount from the www.slotforum.com/forums
White plastic to support the flipper

Above I tried it out its Black common and red to throw one way and green to throw the other way I will see how they perform as I think it may be POSSIBLE the flipper may slip back so might put an elastic band around it or a small magnet to hold in closed position

Above the point switch I will use to close and open the pit lane I will pick up two Thursday night as it late night opening at model shop next step is finish the paint and then lay the tape. . .
Thursday night
Well here's what you have all been waiting for the working pit lane

With the point switch . . . .

Sunday 1st April 2007
Well after a week of putting down tape I forget how fragile it is and went through three rolls of copper tape. . .
Any way like so many others out there I just could not resist a quick try out so here is the video well worth it that Scalextric Challenger was well worth the money I can tell you
Just goes to show that you cant race and do video at the same time

By the look of things should have made pit lane A little Bigger but the LED'S should be visible when racing. May put back into the garage section

As above That's what I was doing this Easter weekend and the start Gantry which is running off my P.C using Ultimate racer software ( free down load )

Laying Scatter and painting This is the only bit I Suck at( painting )
Any way time for a Pit Garage I have the Cardboard ones but. . . .

A bit Tall so. . .

Came up with this Idea
